Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
